First, we have to try to imagine absolute nothingness. Imagine no people, not even you. That in itself is a real challenge because if we could imagine that we don’t even exist, that thought itself would be something that exists.
Now try to imagine that the universe is empty, with no galaxies, no solar systems, no planets, no matter, no energy, and no space/time. Then the empty Universe itself would still exist. So now imagine that no universes even exist. Nothingness, nothing at all.
Even from nothingness, some theories suggest that the universe spontaneously came into existence or created itself. Both of these theories are hard to conceptualize because we are here and thinking about creation. Likewise, the theory that our universe has always existed is hard to imagine since it seems to have had a starting point and is expanding from there.

Many religions have widely imaginative supernatural theories about what our universe is and how it came to be. Most seem to suggest some sort of creator.
The Bible says in the first book of Genesis that God created the universe (referred to as the heavens and the earth). What’s interesting about this account is that it’s very close to the big bang theory of creation.

Now let’s get to the question of why. Everything either exists because it randomly happened or was created somehow or by some intelligent design. If everything exists randomly, then there can be no WHY. Why itself suggests reasoning which can exist in some kind of consciousness, and since we have consciousness with the ability to ask, “Why Does Anything Exist At All” how could we happen to be by randomness?
I think that it is reasonable to think that there had to be some other higher intelligence that decided to create our universe and us in it for a reason.
What do you think?
